Information HarmoName handles

Information stored on your device

  • Names you like, pass on, add, or rank.
  • An optional baby last name.
  • App preferences such as filters, selected decks, and haptic settings.
  • An optional profile photo.

Information stored in iCloud

HarmoName uses Apple CloudKit. When synchronization or partner sharing is active, name choices, ranking information, link state, and an optional profile photo may be stored in your private iCloud database or in an iCloud share you control. Disliked names are not shared with your partner. Your optional baby last name and swipe history remain on your device.

Share participant identity

Apple may provide the name and image associated with an iCloud share so HarmoName can identify your current partner. HarmoName uses this identity transiently and does not store it in its local database, preferences, diagnostics, or CloudKit records.

How information is used and shared

Information is used only to provide HarmoName features: saving choices, restoring state, synchronizing data, and showing shared favorites and rankings to the partner you invite.

HarmoName does not sell personal information, serve advertising, use third-party analytics, or track you across apps or websites.

Apple Intelligence features

On supported devices, HarmoName can use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models to generate optional name details or comparisons at your request. Relevant information is processed on your device and is not sent to the developer or a third-party AI service. Generated content can be inaccurate and should be treated as inspiration rather than fact.

Purchases

Optional name decks are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes payment and purchase-account information. HarmoName receives only the StoreKit transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore purchased content.

Diagnostics and required system access

HarmoName may receive Apple-provided performance and diagnostic information through MetricKit. The app does not log names, Apple Account identifiers, profile photos, or CloudKit record contents in its privacy-safe diagnostic report.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

HarmoName keeps information until you remove it, delete app data, or delete the app, subject to Apple’s iCloud behavior and backups. Open Settings → Reset or delete data to reset likes or permanently delete HarmoName data and the partner link from the device and iCloud.

Children’s privacy

HarmoName is intended for adults choosing names and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when HarmoName’s features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
